ABOUT

J.O.N.E.S. Photo all rights reserved, featuring Evan Jones

Hands of Troy played its first live gig in 2016 and is also the original music project of J.O.N.E.S. LAB MUSIC and Evan Jones, who has written and produced 100’s of demos in the last 20 years, none of which have been shared past text & email sends to family & friends – until now.

"Dood..." is the first LP from J.O.N.E.S., and features eleven original tracks pulled from nearly two decade’s worth of ambitions & challenges, freeways & traffic jams, laughter, life, and that universal constant – change. More tracks & albums to come now that this one's out.

THANK  YOU'S

First off – thanks for giving these tunes a spin!

Huge thanks to my main dood since 1997, Adam Rohosy — whose friendship, collaboration, boss-level playing and production chops helped ready these tunes for prime-time.

Special thanks to my dood Alfredo Montes, who shot & composited the album cover featuring key players in the J.O.N.E.S. multi-verse, alongside my dood & daughter Kylie, who pitched in on a perfectly foggy Saturday morning near Venice Beach. We're just glad the lead singer showed up on time. IYKYK…

My heart beats first and forever for the JonesPartyOfFive — Kirsten, Caelan, Parker, and Kylie — whose arrivals in 1994, 2000, 2003, and 2005 have shaped, inspired and driven my Camino Uno ever since.

Shout-outs to friends & family who've been part of the backdrop to these tunes — including the North County San Diego ballers whose inspiration fueled early versions of Winner, Without Me and Camino Uno. And to our dear friend Brian Reynolds, who was the undisputed heavyweight life of the party, but left us way too soon. I can still hear your "Yeah Dood!" — whenever I think of you, Jane & the boys. ‘Winner!’ is all yours, my Dood.

Last but not least — this site is dated February 14th as a Valentine's Day gift to the woman who inspires me to be the best version of myself every single damn day, and who accepts me when I fall short by a step or two. And, as she would say, this is how we grow. My wife, and my Sweet Light, Kirsten.
